A few months ago, Klevis Jahaj dictated to Eral Myftaraj the 7 million euro tender for the reconstruction and construction of the sewerage network of the informal areas: Harmë; partly Krastë e Vogël, partly Neighborhood: Dyli Haxhire" and, partly Neighborhood: Katund i Ri.
The deputy mayor of Elbasan, Aulona Bylykbashi and the director of the Waterworks Luan Tabaku were also implicated in this inflated tender with a winning bid almost equal to the limit fund, but the bargain was sealed by Klevis Jahaj and Eral Myftaraj.
Reasons have been invented to disqualify other operators from the competition, leaving only Eral Myftaraj's Meteo company. Sources for "Backstage" pointed out that the Meteo company was qualified as a winner illegally, with some false documents and not even meeting the adapted criteria.
The tender, from which it is believed that around 4 million euros will be stolen, has been monitored by SPAK. It is not known if an investigation was opened, but after the finalization of this tender, with criteria adapted to Eral Myftaraj, the latter disappeared the phone, changed the number, disappeared documents and the computer for fear of SPAK.
Movement to leave as little evidence as possible for BKH and SPAK has also been undertaken by Klevis Jahaj, who in recent years has started to invest the suspicious money in real estate, assets for which we will provide details below.
Who is Eral Myftaraj?
Eral Myftaraj from Gramshi, who controls a network of companies, including Meteo, is the main beneficiary of tenders in the municipalities of Elbasan district.
He is such a famous con man and realtor that he is seen under the windows of deputies, ministers, mayors and directors who are in charge of awarding the tender.
Myftaraj is believed to share up to 30% of the winning bid with the officials who award the tenders. While cheating with the implementation of contracts, Eral Myftari appears on sheikhs' vacations with the public money he secures through corrupt schemes.
