SPAK Head meets with British Ambassador: Fight against organized crime, a serious concern

The United Kingdom Ambassador to Albania, Nicholas Abbott, held a meeting with the Head of the Special Structure Against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK), Klodian Braho, where the work to date and the United Kingdom's future support for this institution were discussed.

During the meeting, the parties reaffirmed the strong partnership between the United Kingdom and Albania, with particular emphasis on the fight against organized crime, as a common concern for both countries.

The British Embassy emphasized the United Kingdom's continued commitment to supporting SPAK's efforts to strengthen the rule of law and increase institutional capacities, in the service of security and justice.

"British Ambassador Nicholas Abbott met with the Head of SPAK, Klodian Braho, to discuss the ongoing work and future UK support for SPAK. Both reaffirmed the strong partnership between the UK and Albania, particularly in tackling the shared issue of serious organised crime," the British embassy said in a statement.
