The mayor of Mati goes to SPAK

The mayor of Mati, Agron Malaj, has appeared at the premises of SPAK. While the reason for his summons to the Special Prosecutor's Office is still unknown.

Agron Malaj was the section commander of the Special Unit of the Republic Guard in the January 21 protest. He was one of the 10 officers dismissed by the former Minister of the Interior, Saimir Tahiri.

After leaving the Guard in 2013, he started a political career, after becoming part of the Socialist Party. Later he was appointed chairman of the Socialist Party for Mati.
