An Albanian citizen in New York, with the initials V. Berisha, also known as "Vinny Berisha", appears to be involved in recently released files related to convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
According to documents that “MaShqip” has exclusively obtained, his name appears in at least 43 published materials, which reflect letters and emails exchanged between him and people close to Epstein, with the aim of organizing a meeting and carrying out construction works at the latter’s luxurious residence in Manhattan. The conversations and communications date from October 3, 2018 to February 15, 2019. During this period, V. Berisha exchanges emails with several people, discussing the renovation of a massage room, the construction of a sauna (steam room), the arrangement of the “master bathroom” and general construction works within Epstein’s private residence.
In the communications, Berisha presents himself as the owner of a construction company and negotiates financial offers for these works. Other names are also mentioned in the emails, such as Richard Kahn, David Mitchell, Merwin Dela Cruz and Karyna Shuliak, who appear as intermediaries or people involved in coordinating the project.
The documents show that Epstein's administrator and personal assistant, Lesley Groff, scheduled a meeting with Berisha on February 1, 2019, at 3:15 p.m., at his Manhattan residence. This meeting is confirmed in one of the published emails, which states that the Albanian would be received personally at Epstein's private property.
After this communication, Berisha sends the offer and illustrative images of the project, implying that Epstein had given prior approval for the works. However, there is no clear confirmation in the documents whether the meeting was finally held or whether the works were actually carried out.
Among the documents are several handwritten pages, which are not known to be written by Epstein or other people, but V. Berisha's surname is also included.
What is striking is the fact that this meeting, if it did take place, took place just five months before Epstein's arrest and about six months before his death in prison. This means that the Albanian Berisha had communications and a possible meeting with him, at one of the most critical periods in the life of the financier accused of sex trafficking.
Epstein's luxury Manhattan mansion, considered one of the main "nests" of sexual abuse, has recently completed a massive renovation. According to American media reports, the multi-story building on the Upper East Side has been almost completely remodeled, with millions of dollars in investment, becoming one of the most expensive and most restored properties in the area.
Meanwhile, one of Epstein's victims has come forward to tell the story of the horror she endured inside these walls. She said she was held against her will, threatened, drugged and forced into violent sexual acts, describing the environment as a "luxury prison of abuse."
"Things were happening inside that house that no one would believe. It was hell disguised as luxury," she told American media.
According to the published documents, V. Berisha appears as a construction contractor who negotiated bids, submitted designs and had an official meeting at Epstein's residence. So far, there is no evidence in the file that shows his involvement in Epstein's criminal activities, but only professional contacts and communications about construction work.
However, the fact that an Albanian's name appears in 43 documents in the Epstein dossier, in direct communications with his inner circle and with a planned meeting at the infamous residence, raises strong questions and adds to the mystery about the people who had access to the private world of one of the darkest figures in modern American history. / Ma Shqip
