Meanwhile, the Durrës prosecutor's office has started investigations to shed more light. The investigations have been extended to two cities; Elbasan and Durrës. Initially, it was the Durrës Police that carried out the preliminary procedures of verification and criminal proceedings, passing the file on to the District Prosecutor's Office. The police confirm the completion of the procedures, as the suspect for the transport of waste as a subcontractor is the company "Sokolaj".
