Analyst Andi Bushati stated that the popular protest has delegitimized the Parliament, which in its face seems like an old-fashioned institution. He emphasized that even politicians have realized that it is dangerous to oppose this protest.
According to Bushati, the same debates have been heard in the Assembly since the 2000s, while on the other hand, the protest talks about concrete demands and concerns.
"A kind of cowardice that throws the protest at each other, but no one came out against it. Every politician knows that it is unpopular to oppose the protest, since a large part of the public is with them. For two weeks, I have been following the Parliament, the debate there seemed old, a musty smell that came from another time, meanwhile in the square there are completely new demands, a completely different vision of what is needed for Albania, meanwhile in the Parliament a debate that you hear from before the 2000s.
"This protest has delegitimized this parliament, they seem old, with barren debates that are not in line with society's concerns, which is why they are entering such an absurd trend ," Bushati said on the show "The Unexposed".
