Earthquake tremors in Gjirokastra

Light earthquakes were recorded at around 18:44 today in Gjirokastra.

According to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Center (EMSC), the earthquake, with a magnitude of 3.3 on the Richter scale, had its epicenter about 11 kilometers southeast of Gjirokastra.

Due to the low magnitude, no material damage or injuries were reported. The tremors lasted about 2-3 seconds and were lightly felt by residents of the area.
