IKMT, the Inspectorate of Territorial Protection and the Municipal Police have landed again today in the Lungomare area, to continue the action launched during the months of July and August to clear public spaces.
This operation, which had a first intensive wave during the summer season, has now returned to the spotlight after the discovery of new cases of occupation of public spaces, mainly with illegal structures, tables, improvised kiosks and other objects that block the movement of citizens and pedestrians.
According to preliminary information, any entity that refuses to vacate the public space within the required deadline will face administrative measures, fines and other legal procedures. The authorities emphasize that the aim of the action is to guarantee an open and accessible space for all, as well as respect for urban planning rules in one of the most frequented areas of the city.
The action is expected to continue in the coming days, while the control will extend to the entire coastal area of Vlora.
