Official list/ From Neritan Nallbati and Pëllumb Seferi, to Ardian Çipa and Rebani Jaupi, who are the 15 names in the race for the head of the police

The official list of candidates for the new head of the State Police is cleared. It is learned that there are 15 names that intend to take the reins of the blue uniforms.

One of the candidates is Neritan Nallbati. He currently heads the Criminal Police at the General Directorate. Nallbati has a long career in the police, as a leader in Durrës, Berat, Fier, etc.

In the race is Pellumb Seferi. He heads the Department for International Relations, while also holding the rank of Senior Manager. Pëllumb Seferi graduated from the Military Academy in Italy where he studied at the High School of Application in Turin and graduated in Political Science there. 

Skender Hitaj is another name running. He is the director in Durrës, while earlier he served in several positions within the police, such as in Dibër, Shkodër, etc.

Other names in the race are Rebani Jaupi, currently director of Public Order and Security, head of Interpol, Idajet Faskaj, Ardian Çipa, Hajrulla Xhivini, Ibrahim Disha, Sami Rasha, Shemsi Prençi, or Ilir Proda, etc.

Adriatik Tafçiu, was head of the Planning and Curriculum Sector at the Security Academy, and former deputy director for Crime Investigation and Security at the Dibra Police.

Altin Mena, Deputy Director for Order and Security in Lezha Police. Previously, he was the head of the Berat police station. Ardian Çipa is currently the director of the Gjirokastër Police.

While Gentjan Shehaj is currently the Director in the Directorate of Curricula and Coordination and Quality Assurance, at the Police Academy. Earlier, he directed the police of Vlora. 

Ilir Proda, heads the police of Elbasan and is being investigated by SPAK for uncovering an action.

The candidates will be examined by a commission in the Ministry of the Interior and within 10 days the winning name will be submitted to the Minister of the Interior.
