SPAKi has seized the property of Prince Dobroshi and his brother-in-law, Olsi Syzi.
Prince Dobroshi, otherwise known as "Peshkaqeni", suspected of being one of the biggest drug lords in Europe, was captured by the police in December 2023 in Tirana.

Pursuant to Law No. 10 192, dated 03.12.2009, "On the Prevention and Punishment of Organized Crime, Trafficking, Corruption and other Crimes through Preventive Measures against Wealth", amended, the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime, has registered property proceedings no. .5, dated 26.02.2024, regarding the assets owned by the subjects Princ Dobroshi and Olsi Syziu, as well as the persons related to them.
The subject of this property proceeding, Prince Dobroshi, a citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, is currently being investigated by the law enforcement authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany, for the commission of the criminal offense "Illegal trafficking of narcotics within an organized criminal group", provided for by the legislation criminal of the Federal Republic of Germany, since during 2020, this citizen, together with other collaborators, had planned and transported significant quantities of cocaine-type narcotics, via the maritime route from South America to Germany.
Also from open sources, such as online media, as well as information from partners, it appeared that Prince Dobroshi was caught in 1993, and then sentenced in Norway to 14 years in prison for heroin trafficking.
The other subject of this property proceeding, Olsi Syziu, a citizen of the Republic of Albania, is currently being investigated by the law enforcement authorities of the Federal Republic of Germany, for committing the criminal offense of "Illegal Trafficking of Narcotic Substances of a Significant Quantity", as a member of a gang, provided for by the criminal legislation of the Federal Republic of Germany, since during 2020 and after, this citizen, together with other collaborators, had planned and transported significant quantities of cocaine-type narcotics via the maritime route from South America to Germany, and distributed narcotics in Germany.
The subjects of the property investigation are closely related to each other, as Prince Dobroshi has the subject's sister Olsi Syziu as his wife.
By the investigators of the National Bureau of Investigation, investigations have been carried out in relation to the properties acquired illegally by the subjects Princ Dobroshi and Olsi Syziu, as well as persons related to them.
Following the request of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime with decision no. 10, dated 27.02.2024, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Organized Crime decided to seize some movable and immovable assets of the subjects under financial investigation Princ Dobroshi and Olsi Syziu, as well as persons related to them.
Pursuant to the execution order dated 29.02.2024, of the Special Prosecution Against Corruption and Organized Crime, by the officers of the Judicial Police Service in the Criminal Police Department in the General Directorate of the State Police, in cooperation with the representatives of the Agency for the Administration of Seized and Confiscated Assets, Tirana, the following assets have been seized:
1. Ten bank accounts with a total balance of about 133,000 (one hundred and thirty three thousand) Euros;
2. Real estate of the residential building type, with address, "Gjiri i Lalzit", Draç, Durrës, with area: ground floor 92 m², first floor 97 m², second floor 55 m² + veranda with area 42 m² and area common 576 m², owned by SR citizen;
3. Apartment-type real estate with an area of 61.38 m², registered in the name of citizens Olsi Syziu, BS, AS and MC (S), in the Residence "Kodra e Diellit", Selitë, Tirana;
4. Apartment-type real estate, with an area of 95.96 m², registered in the name of citizens Olsi Syziu, BS, AS and MC (S), in the "Kodra e Diellit" Residence, Selitë, Tirana;
5. Apartment-type real estate, with a living area of 198.4 m2, and two parking spaces, with a total area of 234.1 m2, with the address "Liqeni i Thatë", Tirana;
6. Movable property "Volvo" brand vehicle, model "XC 60", year of production 2015, black color, owned by citizen AS
7. "SLAI" trading company, with tax identification number (NIPT): M18330301H, with an address in the city of Lezha, as well as with the sole partner, the citizen Olsi Syziu.'- informs SPAK.
