Journalist Artan Hoxha, invited to the "Procesi Sportiv" show, said that arrests are being made for organizing gambling, even though the law has come into force.
He emphasized that before entering the studio, he read the announcement of the State Police that he had organized the "Game Over" operation, putting several people in handcuffs.
"The law has indeed entered into force, but no further than today, before entering the show, I received a notification from the State Police, the Fier district police have finalized the coded Game Over operation and have arrested several people, put them in prison for organizing illegal gambling, we are in a situation, on the one hand people are arrested, on the other hand we passed the law, the law has not started the application. With the law published in the Official Gazette, we have allowed gambling, while on the other hand, the police have conducted the Game Over operation", said Hoxha.
