The body of 30-year-old Jurgen Karaj was found 30 km from the accident site in Uraka, after 27 days of searching.
The serious incident occurred on January 10, where a car crashed and ended up in a stream in the village of Darsë, Klos.
The young man was traveling in a car, driven by Andi Losha, who left the scene without notifying the police or providing assistance to the passenger.
Llosha managed to get out of the car and escaped, while Karaj is suspected to have been swept away by the current of the stream.
In connection with the incident, police arrested 24-year-old Llosha, as it is suspected that he left the scene and did not provide assistance to Karaj inside the vehicle.
Llosha also previously underwent an alcohol test, which revealed that he was driving while intoxicated.
The search operations involved the Armed Forces of our country, as well as the Special Unit of the Kosovo Security Forces.
The operation was closely followed by Minister Vengu as well as the Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Ejup Maqedonci.
President Osmani said that the KSF was sent to Albania on January 28, following the proposal of the acting Government of Kosovo.
To closely follow the operation, the Minister of Defense of Albania, Pirro Vëngu, and the Minister of Defense of Kosovo, Ejup Maqedonci, were present.
