US President Donald Trump has proposed that Eric Wendt be the US ambassador to Albania. Journalist Fatos Mahmutaj in an interview for "Ora e Fundit" said that the US pursues very far-sighted policies with Albania.
According to him, Berisha's "non grata" status will never be lifted even if Trump's biggest opponent comes as ambassador to Albania.
Mahmutaj added that Berisha has always had very scandalous relationships with every American ambassador in Tirana.
"The US has always had a far-sighted policy with Albania. Berisha's non grata status cannot be removed even if Donald Trump's biggest opponent comes. It will never be removed. Berisha's relations with American ambassadors have always been a disaster. Berisha's supporters have gone so far as to try to fire a tank at the American ambassador in Tirana at the time. Berisha and Salianji are two charlatans who have never produced any political ideas. Orban, a charlatan who has no ideas whatsoever, had held the Hungarian people hostage. The Hungarian people understood that Orban was not producing any progress, except regression," said Mahmutaj.
