The 45th citizen protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office was accompanied by another message from the podium, this time about developments in Brussels, where Prime Minister Edi Rama is in the framework of the Intergovernmental Conference with the European Union.
Activist Luçiana Kokaj stated that a group of Albanians have gathered in Brussels to protest, with the aim, according to her, of presenting to the Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, a different perspective on the situation in Albania.
" Today, citizens have gathered in Brussels to show Marta Kos the truth about the Albanian government. As during all these days, when we have not been alone, with MEPs, with the Vice President of the European Parliament and ambassadors, today they have come to support us in Brussels. The president of the European students was in Brussels with the protesters and not at the prime minister's conference. The only ones who do not see the protest are the prime minister and his servants ," declared Kokaj.
The activist also focused on the reports filed with justice institutions, describing them as support for the protest.
" The complaints to SPAK and the Constitutional Court about the affairs are a strong support and, just as they support the protest, we will also be in their support. It is not true that we are not giving results. It is not the numbers that count, but the days of staying in the square ," she said.
At the end of her speech, Kokaj called on citizens to join the protest.
" I have a call to all mothers: take your children and come to the square ," the activist concluded.
