The diaspora Albanian, who was involved in the incident with Socialist Party MP Erion Braçe in front of the Parliament, spoke from Skanderbeg Square, shortly before the start of the 45th protest.
He rejected the socialist MP's claims, stating that he has been living and working honestly in Great Britain as a chef for 15 years, while saying that in parallel he also accompanies children with disabilities to school.
"I don't know how Braçe knows me. He has a crush on me, I don't know. He knew information that I'm a drug addict. He attacked Marcel, I was touched, I kept my distance. I kept myself to myself. I cut my hair, I'm a chef. In England. Since 2011. I left unemployment, injustice. I've been a chef for 15 years. I have everything with photos, videos. I was in Albania, we had a wedding with 300 people. I have British citizenship. The end has come. I've returned because I can no longer see these faces in state offices. Dressed in expensive clothes and there is no paracetamol in the hospital. These with expensive cars." - he says.
The protester said that his emigration was related to the lack of opportunities in Albania and criticized the economic and social situation in the country.
He also spoke about the work he currently does in Britain, emphasizing that in addition to his profession as a chef, he also works as a driver for the transportation of children with disabilities.
"I quit my job, a chef, and I have a car that I keep as a taxi. I pick up people with disabilities and take them to school and back home. They tell me: 'You're Albanian, what are you doing here? Why don't you leave?' I tell them: 'There's corruption.' I want to go back, I promised to open a fish restaurant," the protester added.
