The head of Nisma Thurje, Endri Shabani, has commented on SPAK's measure against Ilir Beqaj, regarding the sterilization affair. He was the one who filed the lawsuit in SPAK and in a television studio, Shabani said that the corruption committed in the matter of sterilization was done by order from top to bottom and not the other way around. He emphasized that Minister Beqaj cannot be amnestied and left out of criminal responsibilities.
According to him, in order for justice to be served, the money or property given by the officials through this abusive concession should be seized.
" I think that this is a scheme that was never made from the bottom up, it was made from the top down. Thinking that it is done from the top down, the responsibility also comes from the top down. Until today, everyone else was under security measures and only the minister was not, but as Mrs. Imeraj said, the investigation is ongoing and has not been closed and charges may be added.
For me, as a citizen, it doesn't matter how long these people spend in prison. For me as a citizen, it is important that the money that was stolen be returned. Stop the theft of citizens and confiscate the property. Villas could have been built with that money, they could have been hidden in the stove pipe, and this is where justice is done ," he said.
