The former head of the Court of Cassation, Zef Brozi, while calling SPAK to start investigations on January 21, also commented on the Gërdec massacre.
Brozi says that Sali Berisha should be questioned by the new justice also about the Gërdec massacre.
" I think that Gërdeci, like any other crime in which high officials were implicated, has not been fully investigated, it has only been focused on one aspect, the technical side of the accident. But the real cause is the corruption of the rulers of that time. Even if the courts, SPAK and the prosecution want to investigate and judge the corruption that caused the tragedy of Gërdec, they must also interrogate the former prime minister of that other criminal act of the state.
Even the citizen who has no school class, would start the investigation there. While the Prosecution and the Albanian Courts only if they don't have the will or desire, or if some prosecutors and judges want to continue to be guardians of Sali Berisha, of his inviolability, then maybe they won't take it into question ", says Brozi.
