The Minister of Defense, Niko Peleshi, says that the situation is calm after heavy snowfall the night before.

Peleshi writes that due to the frost, the road axis remains problematic in Shkodër, Kukës, Dibër and Mirdië, while in Korçë the roads are passable with chains.

"The situation created by the weather is calmer today, after the cessation of rain and snow and the continuous work of the field teams. Due to temperatures a few degrees below zero, frost remains problematic on some road axes in the areas of Shkodra, Kukës, Dibra and Mirdita. While in Korça, the axes are passable with chains. The work is still going on for the salting of the roads, where there is presence of ice.

"OSHEE groups are distributed in the field for the repair of defects from the fall of lines as a result of bad weather" , writes Peleshi.
