The US Embassy in Tirana has called on citizens not to fall prey to scams when applying for US visas.
In a video published on the social network X, the embassy emphasizes that they should avoid consultancies that offer services in exchange for money.
“Do not trust anyone who promises to help you get a US visa in exchange for money. Visa agencies are primarily interested in making money, NOT giving you good advice. If they fill out your application incorrectly or with false information, YOU are responsible. Your application will be rejected and any valid visa may be canceled.
