One of the injured from the January 21st protest, 36-year-old Artes Dybeli, for whose injury SPAK has also started investigations, has narrated details from that day.
He tells how he was injured 13 years ago in the January 21 protest where he received two bullets and miraculously escaped even though the projectile passed through his neck. He says that he has not found justice during these years.
" 13 years of waiting, 13 years of hope, I hope it has come to an end and I firmly believe that soon the truth will be revealed and justice will be done for the injured and those who have passed away. I happened to pass by the Boulevard, I stopped, I saw what was happening. I was near the twin towers when I was shot by two bullets, one in the neck and one in the shoulder. I lay on the ground ", Dybeli tells News24 in an interview with journalist Igli Çelmeta.
The 36-year-old says that now that the case will be investigated by SPAK, he believes that after so many years, justice can be done for the victims and the injured of January 21.
" To tell the truth, I'm tired in these 13 years, every year the same story, every January 21 the same story. I had lost hope, but with SPAK something is changing. I believe that something will change for the better, those who are responsible should receive the deserved punishment ", said Dybeli.
The 36-year-old appeals to SPAK to do justice and that all the evidence for his injury on January 21 is in the Tirana prosecutor's office.
" This people should be given hope, only with justice will they be given hope. I believe that with SPAK something will be achieved. I hoped and to tell the truth, I was never called by the prosecution, as one of the injured. I went myself, I did it with the good forces, I gave the testimony as a wounded person. My entire file is at the Prosecutor's Office, along with the photos and the medical record ," Dybeli stressed.
