The Minister of State for Public Administration and Anticorruption has reacted to the news that from Wednesday the working hours for public administration employees will be shortened, due to the African heat.
In fact, according to the clarification, we are not dealing with a reduction of the schedule, but the change is related to a VKM for the new rules of duration at work, including the concept of flexible daily schedule for every employee of the public administration.
Thus, the proposal in question foresees that the administrative employee can choose a flexible working schedule, respecting during the four days of the week the duration of 8 hours and 30 minutes from Monday to Thursday, while on Friday the working schedule is reduced to 6 hours.
The mandatory time zone when all employees must be at their workplaces is every day from 9:30 to 15:30, and on Friday from 9:30 to 13:00.
This initiative comes as a response to improve flexibility and efficiency in the public administration, reflecting the needs of employees for a more convenient schedule and a better balance of life and work. This change is not related to the high temperatures of the last few days, as has been published in some portals, but to the stable injection of flexibility at work ", the Ministry of State for Public Administration and Anticorruption clarifies.
