The DP deputy, Ervin Salianji, declares that the murders in Albania continue to remain without a perpetrator, while the State Police fails to protect the citizens.
In a statement to the media from the blue headquarters, Salianji said that over 90% of criminal events in Albania remain unsolved.
The democratic deputy thanked the media which, according to him, made possible the discovery of the incident in Pogradec, where 42-year-old Egli Proga, father of two, lost his life due to the violence perpetrated by Denis Meçe.
"Today, I believe that the public expected to be told that due to the criminal events, all the murders that occurred, today there was a quarter of the case discovered in Velipoja, all the other criminal cases are with perpetrators in search. Not only do they have the opportunity to kill here, not only do the police have no power to prevent them, but they also have no power to catch them after they kill, and today we are at a rate of over 90% of non-detection of criminal events in Albania. Or even worse where the media reveals it and I want to make a public thank you for all of you, for the case of Pogradec, the State Police not only comes out and manipulates the event that just happened, but that has not happened in 34 years in Albania, it comes out in official statement by the State Police and refutes the Prosecutor's Office, which has launched an investigation and has the courage, because the Prime Minister attacks him, to launch an investigation for abuse of duty by the State Police", said Salianji.
