The 27th day of the civic protest march against the government and the political caste has ended.
After the route through the streets of the capital, the protesters returned to the Prime Minister's Office building, where this evening's rally began.
During the march, citizens crossed some of Tirana's main axes, constantly chanting the slogans "Rama goes away", "Rama resigns", "New Albania", "Rama in prison" and "Berisha in prison", reiterating that the revolt is now not only against the government, but against the entire political caste.
After returning to the Prime Minister's Office, the organizers declared that the protest does not end with this evening's march. Some of the protesters have decided to stay all night in front of the Prime Minister's Office building, awaiting the national protest announced for the following day.
Organizers expect Saturday's rally to mark the largest turnout since the start of the revolt, with citizens expected to arrive in Tirana from various regions of the country.
With the end of the 27th day march, the protesters reiterated that the mobilization will continue until their demands are met, describing the protest as a civic movement for changing the political system in Albania.
