After the end of the official voting schedule, the CEC issued an official statement regarding the progress of the voting process in Himare today.
According to the CEC, the voting process in the 36 voting centers continued smoothly, as it emphasizes that the participation was 36.9 percent.
Furthermore, the CEC has stated that the vote counting process will begin when the last ballot box arrives at the CEC.
Official statement of the CEC:
At 19:00, the voting schedule for the partial elections for the Mayor of Himarë ended. Voting centers are closed throughout the territory of the municipality.
The voting process in 36 VCs continued smoothly while the voters were identified electronically and the PEI system was quite successful. The CEC dynamically followed the progress of the process, intervening in cases where assistance was requested from the Commissioners of the Voting Centers.
From the preliminary information and the reported data, 36.9% results from the participation in the elections. The VC commissions are preparing to deliver the ballot boxes and election materials to the CEAZ no. 88, to pave the way for the vote counting process.
The process of counting votes will begin when the last ballot box from the remote VC arrives at the CEAZ.
