"The worst is yet to come", ex-president Topi: Rama flies high, but he

Former president Bamir Topi spoke about the current political situation in the country. According to him, the worst is yet to come. Topi said that the political parties but also the state has been caught by a serious virus.

Regarding Prime Minister Rama, Bamir Topi stated that he is now "flying" high with all the powers he has, but he must start thinking about how he will lower the plane, without incurring costs for the country.

"Fourth mandate, unnecessary, unimaginable, and this is no longer any kind of surprise. If I will give a metaphorical situation, he has been in a high flying quota and driving the plane for 12 years. From political experience and from all the information, this man should know to start making the normal landing of the plane, because landing in turbulence situation will create very big problems for him and his government and for a society that is going through trauma cyclically.

I don't know what he thinks, but I don't make this comment in his interest, but in the interest of building a sound opinion in a society that has lost the ability, not to react but also to perceive. This kind of chaos has been deliberately injected, so that people are detached from the problems of the day and oriented towards election hijacking schemes.

Referring to the figures and the formula where the operation of pre-election coalitions has been prohibited by law, it means that the confrontation is SP - PD, based on closed lists.

Rama probably cares about the fact that almost five times as many Albanians live beyond Albania's borders, and he seems to think that he will solve their problems in the global context, when you have a long government and absolute power without borders, I believe that even those close to him, they don't dare say where you are going, they don't dare. It's a vicious and tight circle, apparently this story of people with unlimited power, those close to them keep telling you that you're good.

Those who reap the fruits of power, the people who lick and the servile are generally the people who survive, serve whoever is there. They are the first to abandon the ship when the ship sinks" , said Topi for "TPZ".

Regarding the political situation in the country, Topi said that the worst is yet to come.

"It is a situation that, crossing the limits of modesty, I have predicted for a long time that it would come like this. I can even tell you that the worst for Albanian politics has not yet arrived. I am talking about the situation of political parties and as a result and state institutions. Today, more and more, we can find endless flaws, not just of an individual who is prime minister, but of those who are present in Albanian politics, as if a serious virus has caught them without difference all. They are part of an epidemic that has erupted from the swamp they are in. I think we have a serious clinical condition that will get worse of the functioning of political parties. More and more they are identifying with the leaders.

After the political parties comes the election situation and then that parliament for which neither I nor you nor others have the respect they should have for the institution, because it itself was produced by people who do not see Albania's perspective but only narrow personal interests of their families and the group that surrounds them.

All this goes to the institutions. The political parties should think about governance and the institutions should be such that despite the crises they are solid" , declared the former president.
