Cold, rain and snow, these are the weather conditions this weekend, at least for the next 24 hours, according to weather forecasters.
"In Central Europe, a cold front has been descending from northern Europe for several days, bringing snow to most parts and has entered the Balkans. Although the situation remains unstable, there is a decrease in the intensity of precipitation. Precipitation will be present, but scarce, in the eastern part of Albania. In mountainous areas, there will be precipitation in the form of snow. It is expected that precipitation will continue on Saturday," said meteorologist Lajda Porja.
Temperatures have dropped significantly, even reaching negative values.
According to meteorologists, low temperatures have brought snow to mountainous areas, which will continue on Saturday.
"Throughout these days, temperatures have been relatively low and mornings cold. Temperatures will be 0 to -2 degrees on Saturday. Sunday brings an improvement in the situation, a total removal of precipitation," said Lajda Porja from Meteoalb.
Wind storms in maritime areas are forecast to improve.
