GJKKO has published the official announcement after the decision to put security measures in force for Ilir Meta and the other 3 accused.
GJKKO decided to continue the implementation of the personal security measure "arrest in prison" for Ilir Meta. It also left in force the security measures "Compulsion to appear" against Monika Kryemadhi, Pirro Xixho and Ema Çokun.
Kryemadhi will have to appear at SPAK on the first Monday of every month at 12:00. On the same day, the appearance for Pirro Xixho and Ema Çoku was left, but at 1:00 p.m.
Announcement of GJKKO:
. Continuation of the implementation of the personal insurance measure "Obligation to appear
in the judicial police" provided by article 234 of the Criminal Code against the person under
investigation Monika Kryemadhi, appointed by decision no. 125, dt. 20.10.2024 of
Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and Crime e
Organized, suspected of committing criminal offenses "Passive corruption i
high state officials or local elected officials" in 2 (two) cases and
in collaboration, "Cleaning the products of the criminal offense or activity
Petitioner Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime
on 22.10.2024 submitted to the Court the request with the object: "Interrogation
and verification of the conditions and criteria for the implementation of the personal insurance measure with
coercive character, determined by decision no. 125, dated 20.10.2024 of the Court of
Special First Degree for Corruption and Organized Crime, against persons
under investigation Ilir Metaj, Monika Kryemadhi, Piro Xixho and Ema Çoku".
2. At the end of the trial, the Special Court of First Instance for Corruption and
Organized Crime with a panel composed of judge Erjon Çela, based on articles
112, 237 and 248 of the Penal Code, with decision No. 130, dated 23.10.2024, decided:
1. Continuation of the implementation of the personal security measure "arrest in prison" e
provided by article 238 of the Criminal Code against the person under investigation Ilir Metaj, e
determined by decision no. 125, dt. 20.10.2024 of the Special Court of First Instance
First for Corruption and Organized Crime as suspected of committing
criminal offenses "Passive corruption of high state officials or
local elected officials" in 3 (three) cases, of which in two cases in cooperation,
"Cleaning of the proceeds of a criminal offense or criminal activity" carried out in
cooperation and more than once, and "Refusal to declare,
non-declaration, concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests
elected persons and public servants, or any person who has the obligation
legal for declaration" provided by articles 260 and 25, 287/2 and 257/a/2 of
K. Penal.
2. Continuation of the implementation of the personal insurance measure "Obligation to appear
in the judicial police" provided by article 234 of the Criminal Code against the person under
investigation Monika Kryemadhi, appointed by decision no. 125, dt. 20.10.2024 of

concealment or false declaration of assets, private interests of persons
elected and public servants, or of any person who has the legal obligation to
declaration" provided by articles 260 and 25, 287/2 and 257/a/2 of the Penal Code.

3. The person under investigation, Monika Kryemadhi, is forced to appear at the Police Offices
Judicial, of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Crime
Organized on the first Monday of every month at 12.00.
4. The replacement of the coercive personal insurance measure "Arrest in
house" provided by article 237 of the Penal Code, assigned to the person under
Piro Xixho investigation with decision no. 125, dt. 20.10.2024 of the Special Court
of the First Degree for Corruption and Organized Crime with the measure of
personal insurance "Obligation to appear in the judicial police" provided
from article 234 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
5. The person under investigation, Piro Xixho, is forced to appear at the Police Offices
Judicial, of the Special Prosecution against Corruption and Crime
Held on the first Monday of every month at 1:30 p.m.
6. Continuation of the implementation of the personal insurance measure "Obligation to appear
in the judicial police" provided by article 234 of the Criminal Code against the person
under investigation Ema Çoku, designated by decision no. 125, dt. 20.10.2024 of the Court
First Degree Special Unit for Corruption and Organized Crime, e
suspected of committing the criminal offense "Cleaning the products of the criminal offense or
criminal activity" carried out in cooperation provided by article 287/2 i
K. Penal.
7. The person under investigation Ema Çoku is forced to appear at the Judicial Police Offices,
of the Special Prosecutor's Office against Corruption and Organized Crime on Monday
first of every month at 13:00.
8. The Special Prosecution against Corruption and Organized Crime is ordered
as well as judicial police services, for the execution of this decision.
9. An appeal can be made against this decision within 5 (five) days in the Court of
Special Appeal for Corruption and Organized Crime, term which starts from
the day of notification of the court decision
