The National Food Authority in Shkodër has blocked another significant quantity of livestock corn at the Hani i Hoti customs point, which came from Serbia to our country. This quantity was blocked a few days after the NFA had found and blocked 25 tons of livestock corn, suspected of having a high aflatoxin content, which was being attempted to be imported into our country from Serbia. In both cases, the entity that carried out the export of livestock corn is the same.
" We have currently blocked about 75 tons and are waiting for their analysis. Yesterday's order is that all products from Serbia, animal feed, are being treated with blocking in the warehouses of the entities. I can say that the animal feed had the presence of aflatoxin, these are preliminary results, we are waiting for the final results that have been taken outside Albania for analysis ," Ramir Haderi, director of the Shkodër AKU, told A2 CNN.
In addition, the Shkodra AKU has also blocked a farm in the village of Trush, as the traceability system showed that it was supplied with livestock corn from a subject banned at customs. Controls have also been carried out and warning measures have been imposed on agricultural pharmacies that have resulted in violations during the development of their activity./ A2CNN
