Historian Pëllumb Xhufi says that the current Greek government is anti-Albanian.
Speaking about the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, he says that he has many characteristics of his father, whom he considers cynical.
The historian even says that Kyriakos Mitsotakis has the same spirit as Konstantinos.
"Konstantinos Mitsotakis has been a very gloomy figure in the history of Albanian-Greek relations. It played an extremely negative, very cynical role and made attempts not only against Albania but also against North Macedonia in the early 90s. He openly proposed the division of North Macedonia between Serbia, Greece and Bulgaria. Even Kyriakos Mitsotakis has this spirit of his father in excess. But at the end of the day it's not personal.
For me, this government is anti-Albanian. For a mayor who was prosecuted by the Greek courts, arrested by the Greek police in 1994, subjected to a trial for terrorism, for the murder of three Albanian army officers, a great conflict between the two countries was created. This clearly shows the position of the Greek government towards Albania", said Xhufi, invited to Dritare TV.
