Anesthesiologist and resuscitator Apostol Vaso has announced through a post on social networks that he has been dismissed from his position as a doctor at the Trauma hospital for the reason that "he has zero credits from the Continuing Education Center" and cannot be licensed by the Physician's Order.
After his dismissal, he writes that he has to "go out and beg for a living", "disappear from sight" or "challenge anyone, even if he is alone".
He ironically states that the structures for assessing the ability of health workers are not interested in scientific work or nominations and citations in the largest journals of medical science in the world.
