Monika Kryemadhi and Romeo Kara reach 'agreement', GJKKO dismisses lawyer's defamation lawsuit

The Criminal Court of Kosovo has dismissed the defamation lawsuit that lawyer Romeo Kara had filed against Freedom Party MP Monika Kryemadhi.

It seems that the lawyer and Kryemadhi have reached an 'agreement' to reconcile, as neither of them appeared at today's session. The GJKKO said in the previous session that if the parties manage to resolve the matter by agreement, they should not appear and thus the lawsuit was dismissed.

The lawyer sued Kryemadhi for "defamation", after a statement made by the latter in a television studio, where she said that Romeo Kara had been paid to file a complaint against former President Ilir Meta.
