Monika Kryemadhi appeared today at the SPAK premises. Kryemadhi stopped in front of the media, where there was no shortage of ironies and jokes as she entered the Special Prosecution Office.

On July 28, 2025, SPAK announced the closure of the investigations and the sending for trial of the criminal case against former President Ilir Meta and his ex-wife, Monika Kryemadhi, accused of the criminal offenses of corruption and money laundering.
According to the Special Prosecution Office, Meta, who has been in prison for more than a year, is accused of passive corruption in three cases, two of which in collaboration. His ex-wife, Monika Kryemadhi, has been charged with passive corruption in two cases committed in collaboration.
