The Kukës region continues to be affected by heavy rainfall.
Due to weather conditions, problems with falling rocks, soil, and aggregates continue to occur on national road axes, requiring constant intervention by maintenance teams.
Snowfall has also been recorded in the high mountain areas. Some road segments in the deep mountain villages are under the influence of snow and frost, but are currently passable. According to forecasts, in the coming days, snowfall is expected to extend to the lower mountain areas.
Contractors continue to work on the ground without interruption, cleaning culverts and eliminating problems caused by rainfall. All national road axes remain open to traffic. There are no reports of emergencies or problematic situations from the municipalities of Kukës, Has and Tropojë.
Regarding the supply of electricity, the entire Kukës Region is normally supplied, except for a few areas: Mamëz village, Adm. Kolsh, Adm. Surroj, Kukës municipality, Adm. Tropojë e Vjetër, Fierz, Llugaj and Margegaj, Tropojë municipality, Zarisht village, Adm. Fajza, Has municipality.
