The Ministry of Defense has reacted to the situation created in the country by the bad weather in a statement to the media. According to the Ministry of Defense, local structures and civil emergency teams throughout the country are continuing their work to normalize the situation created by the recent rainfall. Problems have been noted in some areas, while in most regions the situation appears to be stabilized.
In Durrës, 48 flooded houses and several roads with water in the villages of Kulla, Hamalla and Rrushkull are reported. In Kurbin municipality, 50 houses with water and 12 others in Milot unit are reported. In some road axes in Kukës, there has been a fall of inert materials, so contracting companies are working on cleaning.

Dibër District
In the municipality of Dibër, there is a reported lack of electricity in the units of Kala e Dodës, Sllovë, Zall Dardhë, Reç, Lurë and partially in Arras and Fushë Çidhën. OSHEE groups are working to repair the defects. The intensity of precipitation in the region is decreasing.
Durres District
In Sukth, several homes in the villages of Kulla, Hamalla and Rrushkull have been affected, with roads blocked. In Manza, around 48 homes are reported to have water.
In the municipality of Kruja, in Thumanë, Borizanë and Mazhe, work is underway to open canals and unblock roads, while the embankment of the Drojë River is being strengthened to prevent it from overflowing its banks. The water level has started to drop.
Lezha District
In the Kurbin municipality, interventions continue due to the increase in water levels in Mamurras, where 50 apartments are reported to have water and 12 others in the Milot unit. The municipal structures and the resources of the Regional Directorate of Water Supply and Sewerage are working.
In the Mirditë municipality, there are power outages in several villages of the Rubik unit. The levels of the Drin and Mat rivers are within quotas.
Kukes District
There has been a fall of inert materials on some road axes, so contracting companies are working to clean up. In remote mountainous areas there is a lack of power, and OSHEE teams are working to restore supply.
Shkodra District
No problems are reported. Work continues on the Guri i Zi canal and in the segment near the Dajçi bridge to guarantee the flow of water. In the “Berdicës Arch” area, cleaning of deposits that impede the flow is being carried out. Other municipalities do not report problems.
In other regions such as: Gjirokastër, Vlorë, Fier, Elbasan, Berat, Tirana, no problems due to rainfall are reported. In Korça, work is underway to restore power to several units.
The Ministry of Defense and the National Civil Protection Agency remain in continuous monitoring and in contact with local civil protection structures, with the aim of taking all necessary measures in the event of worsening weather conditions.
