"More difficult days await us", the epidemiologist: Do not underestimate this flu!

Cases of flu and seasonal viruses have increased significantly at the beginning of the year in our country, while doctors call for increased care.

Epidemiologist Dritan Ulqinaku said in an interview for Euronews Albania that the symptoms of the flu that is circulating in the country should not be neglected, which, as he pointed out, is joining the cases with COVID, making the situation even more difficult.

" This year's problem is the mix, a strange combination of flu and COVID. We must be careful with both COVID and the flu; keep the distance, use the mask in crowded environments and we must say that the mortality in Eastern Europe where there is an increase in viral infections is increasing. That's why I emphasized that bad days will come in terms of the epidemiological situation from the flu. It is not excluded that in the following days we will come out with new instructions ", said the doctor.
