A young man from Vlora, who interrupted yesterday's meeting at the Vlora Municipal Council, demanding a right denied for about 5 years, which has to do with compensation for the collapse of his apartment near the Port, has gone viral on social networks.
The young man is David Dano, who, moments after violently entering the meeting room, accusing the councilors of being fraudsters, was escorted by the police to provide clarification.
Meanwhile, today, on the 'Breaking' show on TopNews, the young man revealed the reasons that led him to react in that way. He said he is seeking compensation for the apartment, adding that they are living in poverty.
"We are living in poverty, no one has responded. I currently live in an uninhabitable apartment, no one will know. When I ask for an account at the municipality, they direct me to ministries, delegate responsibilities," he said.
David Dano is one of the many citizens whose house on the Transbalkanike Road collapsed.
For five years they have been waiting for compensation, which, although approved by the Council of Ministers, has not been passed on to the Municipal Council.
"I am revolted, I am bitter, I demand my rights," he says.
