Shortly after being released from prison for health reasons, former Elbasan judge Pajtime Fetahu appeared this Tuesday at SPAK premises for questioning.
Fetahu is being investigated by SPAK on suspicion of corruption in connection with the Elbasan criminal organizations led by Suel Çela and the Çopja brothers.
According to SPAK's announcement, Fetahu provided the brothers with secret information. According to SPAK, the former judge is suspected of receiving 11,000 euros, a gold coin and a mobile phone from members of the "Çopja" criminal group.
Pajtime Fetahu had been in a detention cell since November 2024 under an arrest warrant issued by SPAK, regarding investigations into Suel Çela and members of his group in Elbasan.
Her name also later surfaced again in SPAK's "Golden Bullet 2" operation against criminal groups, where over 30 arrest warrants were issued.
The former judge is suspected of receiving 11,000 euros, a gold coin, and expecting a mobile phone from members of the "Çopja" criminal group. She is accused of corruption, and resigned from the justice system on November 16, 2022, just days before she was due to undergo the Vetting process.
