Security expert Fatjon Softa commented on "News Line", the serious event that happened in Tirana, where 52-year-old Eduart Reçi was killed with a bullet to the head.
The 52-year-old was injured and died in the Trauma hospital. During the interview, the security expert said that the event is very serious and that at least 5 assassinations have been carried out since January, which still remain without perpetrators.
Softa focused on the dynamics of the event that happened the night before, and the data so far, where despite investigations at the scene, no cartridge was found.
He explained that the fall of the victim's body indicates the direction of the shooter, adding that if the hit was at a distance, you cannot find shells around the scene.
"The incident is serious, it is the 5th assassination since January until the moment we speak. All 5 without authors. This attack is similar to the attack on Sinomat in Vlora. The fact that no cartridges are found, the bullet has several elements. But the angle of impact can be obtained to see at what point it was, and cameras can be searched to see if there were people moving. Or to understand if premises can be rented. The fact that it strikes at a certain hour has been well studied, so it cannot be a random event, but it can be planned for a long time. Competition or conflicts may be the cause of this event, but this should be investigated by the investigative team. If the shot was at a distance around the scene, no shell casings can be found. From the way the body falls, it shows the direction of the shot, that is, from the images, a kind of determination is made in which direction the shooter hits. Determining the direction, he examines all the objects", said Softa further.
