Analyst Ergys Mërtiri has commented on the situation in the Democratic Party after Saturday's elections that returned Lulzim Basha to the head of the official Democratic Party.

According to the analyst, the May 14 elections showed that the official PD without a campaign, without support and without candidates received almost as many votes as Berisha, which shows that she will be the future while Foltorja will be decreasing.

"The elections of May 14 showed that the official DP without campaign at all, without support, without election candidates, without a president and without political activity for 1 year, without money, without media support, without anything received votes relatively comparable to Berisha. This shows that Berisha is the electoral drama of the opposition, so I think that the only force that offers a future is this, that is, the official PD.
