From Meta to Balluku, Blendi Fevziu: SPAK also oriented towards spectacle

Journalist Blendi Fevziu, invited to the show "The Unexposed" on MCN TV, speaking about SPAK and justice reform, stated that there is also an element of spectacle in SPAK's arrests.

Fevziu also spoke about the latest news that has circulated, about Deputy Prime Minister Balluku's appearance at SPAK, which he called irresponsible, as there is no official information, but only hypotheses about which he said he is "shocked".

Blendi Fevziu: I think some of these arrests were made in a spectacular way to create the impression that people who were not punished before are being punished. Tell me, why did Meta have to be arrested in the middle of the street? The ugliest cartel. What country is this that drags its own President?

Ylli Rakipi: So you have an idea that is a little more spectacle-oriented, to create a stir with the names of the officials. In recent days we have seen the game, Balluku was called, was not called, a joke.

Blendi Fevziu: We don't know anything about Balluku yet. Today I would have a show about Balluku, but none of the serious journalists can come to the studio and talk about a hypothesis. We don't have the statement. So without having the statement, if you look at the online media, you're shocked. Some talk about the Llogara tunnel, which I don't know if the minister is responsible for since it's ARRSH, some talk about supervision, some about ships, some about something else. In the meantime, and I call this irresponsibility, we know so far that there is news coming out of the media that Balluku will be summoned, to be charged or to be taken as a defendant. We can't make hypotheses about what we don't know.

Ylli Rakipi: No, there are some who do it because they have different agendas.

Blendi Fevziu: I am waiting for SPAK to communicate.

Ylli Rakipi: So in this case, there is also SPAK, the advertising machine.

Blendi Fevziu: Every person who does something will be seen. I don't even know who was an advisor to SPAK. There is a perception that examples are the best solution. So make two or three examples and the others will be scared too. For me, the guilty should be punished. If you punish an innocent person, you have failed. It is better not to punish some guilty people than to put an innocent person in prison.

Ylli Rakipi: We have noticed that there are rare cases when the court overturns SPAK.

Blendi Fevziu: This is the biggest flaw in the justice reforms. I call SPAK a success story to some extent.

Ylli Rakipi: I have that idea too. But here we go.
