Snowfall is expected at altitudes above 1000 meters in the East and Southeast; temperatures remain low in mountainous areas
On Tuesday, the country is expected to be affected by unstable weather conditions, with light rain predicted in all regions. According to meteorological data from the Institute of Geosciences, in the Eastern and Southeastern areas, at altitudes above 1000 meters above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow.
Air temperatures will show differences according to geographical areas. On the coast, minimum values are expected to drop to 9°C, while maximums will reach up to 17°C.
In low-lying areas, temperatures will fluctuate from 5°C in the morning to 18°C during the day. Meanwhile, in mountainous areas, minimum temperatures will drop to 1°C, while maximums are not expected to exceed 11°C.
The wind is expected to blow light to moderate in most of the territory, but for short periods it may intensify, especially in mountainous areas and along the coastline.
