Aleksandër Çipa commented on Prime Minister Rama's warning about Electoral Reform without the opposition.
In an interview for the show "Open", he stated that in the conditions of a "2-year vacuum" in the opposition, Rama wants to use this moment also in the pre-election context.
According to him, with the completion of the quorum of 84 votes in the Parliament, the Prime Minister will seek to complete 3 projects, which are constitutional amendments, amnesty and the People's Advocate.
As for securing votes, Çipa said that in the conditions of the opposition's fragmentation, there are individual negotiations, but also compromise with groups.
" It is not for nothing that the Prime Minister puts the discussion of the existence of political bipolarity on the agenda of the political debate. In the conditions of a 2-year vacuum in the opposition and in the very long process of destroying the opposition, he wants to use it even in the pre-election context. This is his intention.
He wants to complete 3 important issues, if he completes the quorum of 84 votes in the parliament, he has 3 projects, the first one for the election of the people's advocate. This can be resolved with an interest group supporting a potential candidacy. The second concerns the expected amnesty that also has an electoral effect.
The third is about constitutional changes. The electoral law is not in the first place. There is no way to have reform under these conditions, the prime minister wants to change the political agenda and make his protagonism prevail. Votes, in the conditions of opposition fragmentation, there is individual negotiation but also group compromise. There we are dealing with numerical votes. He needs a total of 7 votes to reach 84 ", he said among others.
