Former MP of PBDNJ Thoma Miço spoke about the efforts to solve the case of Himara municipality after the decision of the Special Court not to accept the request of Fredi Beleri to be sworn in as mayor and the withdrawal of Jorgo Goro.
But while the name of Vangjush Tavos, proposed by Prime Minister Edi Rama for the post of mayor of Himara, was mentioned in the Greek media, Miço announced on A2 CNN that there are two other names besides him. It is about journalist Ilir Paço and businessman Theodhori Çami.
" I received some information in a private way. The solution is to leave it to the elected mayor of the Himara municipality to throw some names on the table and until justice is done, the replacement is done, so that the municipality can function. Apart from Tavo, there is the journalist Ilir Paço and Theodhori Çami, a businessman from Dropulli, who are not related to Himara ", said Miço.
According to Miço, Beleri has asked from prison to replace one of the members of his list.
" I would not like the Greek side to be in the negotiation, we have the opportunity to solve this problem ourselves. Beleri from prison has asked to replace one of the members of his list. It is an Albanian problem that can be solved and this would mitigate the conflict and Greece would reconsider the veto mechanism ", he said.
The former deputy emphasizes that the alternative with these 3 names and other names without Beler's consensus will not be accepted even by Greece.
"It is possible to resolve this if it is the desire of both parties and taking into account Mr. Beleri's desire. The temporary replacement of the mayor with these 3 names without the consensus of Beleri, is not the best option and will not be accepted by Greece ", he said.
