The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, has stated that the work of the Special Prosecutor's Office will not stop and that it will continue with other investigations and arrests.
In an interview for the show "3D", on RTSH1, Dumani said that the moment the investigative files they have are closed, then the next blow will come.
Excerpts from the studio conversation:
Will the spring elections affect the continuation of the investigation?
Dumani : We don't stop, we don't depend on the weather conditions or the appetite of currents in the country
- Are there other issues to follow?
Altin Duman i: We have not received. We have not closed the offices and there will be no issues. This is our job. Let's investigate. The moment the investigation matures and the level of evidence is mature enough to proceed with a security measure or the defendant is free, you will have news. We are at work.
- There have been rumors that starting from January you will start to slow down because of the election campaign since the elections are in the spring?
Altin Dumani: "If crime takes a break during the electoral campaign, we will reduce the tempo. Any kind of crime. Crime is corruption in elections and corruption of officials. We are fulfilling our functions. We do not depend on the weather conditions or the appetite of the different currents that may be in the country
