The head of SPAK, Altin Dumani, also emphasized the fight against organized crime that SPAK is developing in our country.
Invited to the show '3D by Alban Dudushi' on RTSH, Dumanin said that Albanian organized crime is spread almost all over Europe, even to Latin America.
" Albanian organized crime is mainly oriented towards the trafficking of hard drugs. It is not a problem only for Albania, but also for many countries in Europe, up to Latin America. We have increased international cooperation. We have cooperation with Italy, we have joint investigative groups. We have dealt big blows to organized crime. We have cooperation with Belgium, France, Germany, England, but also Kosovo, North Macedonia, Montenegro, etc. Many high-ranking figures of the international investigation have visited SPAK. We have a lot of work to do and there is a need for intensification and given this level of cooperation I believe there will be more hits. We have done an analysis of organized crime groups for their financial power. The most preferred field is investment in real estate, construction, hotel, etc. We seized 6 million euros during this year ," Dumani said.
