Security expert Fatjon Softa commented on the episode of violence between a police officer and a young waiter in one of the bars in the coastal city of Vlora.
Softa said that the AMP should initiate criminal proceedings against the Border Point officer in Dibër and that further investigations should be carried out into the connection he had with the person with a criminal record who was involved in the incident. Softa further said that the officer risks a fine of up to 5 years in prison.
"It will be the AMP, the Disciplinary Commission to initiate criminal proceedings. There may be procedures from dismissal from the police to criminal proceedings. This is part of what the general director will undertake. The AMP, of that area and the police station, is put to work, the data that it had and if there was data why it did not appear because it is not a coincidence that it is associated with people with a precedent. It must be investigated if there are implications and the disciplinary commission is convened to make the relevant verifications.
"It should be the forensic report, what injuries there are from the injury. If he is prosecuted, it is the criminal code and what points they are. He risks a fine of up to 5 years in prison ," Softa told "Abc News".
