The fire situation in the country remains worrying. According to the Ministry of Defense, during the last 24 hours, 45 fires have been registered in several regions of Albania, of which 21 are still active, 16 are under monitoring, while 8 have been extinguished.
Civil Emergency operational forces, firefighters, the army and local authorities are working on the ground to bring the situation under control, while in some areas interventions have also been carried out from the air.

During the last 24 hours, 45 fires have been identified, of which 21 are still active, 16 are under monitoring and 8 have been extinguished.
These outbreaks remain active:
– In the place called "Lake of Flowers", part of the Lura National Park, the Hotspot called Gropa e Madhe and Pllau i Gjurës above the village of Gurë-Lura Zjarri continues to be active, where there are about 50 forces from operational structures.
– In the village of Zall Gjoçaj, the Mat municipality has continued work to extinguish the fire that has spread over 14 km, with developments in three directions: from Masdeja, which includes a significant area in the forests, to Qafa e Tollës, as well as to the place called Fush Kuqe, where about 46 forces from operational structures operated on the ground.
– In Qafë Buall, Bulqizë Municipality, the fire has spread towards the Old Town area, the village of Plan i Bardhë and towards Krasta. 120 forces from operational structures have been engaged in the fire extinguishing operation and 2 helicopters have intervened. The situation is calmer and urban areas are not at risk. 6 apartments have been evacuated
– On the heights of the mountain above the village of Kalasë, Delvinë municipality, the operation has continued with all structures, assisted by 58 personnel and 4 firefighting vehicles of the Armed Forces. The fire is between the villages of Borsh, Piqers. Sasaj, the administrative unit of Lukovë, there are 4 fires separated from each other but at a height and without any possibility of intervention with people and vehicles. The wind helps the flames spread rapidly. There is air intervention in the early hours of the morning.
– The fire that engulfed the villages of Kalas – Tatzat – Senicë – Vergo – Kopaçëz – Palavli, in the municipality of Dlvinë, is currently actively burning in the village of Kopaçëz in the mountains, where around 70 forces from all operational structures, a car, an ambulance and a Cougar helicopter are engaged.
– In the Shmil area in the village of Lugaxhi, Elbasan municipality, work to extinguish the fire has continued with the engagement of around 50 forces from operational structures in the field.
– In the area behind the Lisec mountain, Gramsh Municipality, the fire that has been active since yesterday evening has been isolated in many parts in terrain that is difficult for the intervention of operational forces. The fire is superficial and without damage, because the forest is very high.
– Në zonën e Shkopetit, njësia administrative Milot, vazhdon aktiv zjarri vatra e të cilit është përhapur edhe në territorin e bashkisë Mirditë. Pjesa më aktive e vatrës është përhapur në zonën e kufirit ndarës mes bashkive Kurbin-Mirditë-Mat, mbi lartësitë e fshatit Lurth, kua janë angazhuar rreth 80 forca vendore të bashkive Kurbin e Mirditë. Nuk ka rrezik për banesat.
– Në fshatin Kulmë dhe fshatin Fang, bashkia Mirditë, zjarr i rënë në një sipërfaqe pyjore ka marrë përmasa të mëdha, favorizuar nga temperaturat ekstreme dhe era që fryn. Në fshatin Fang operuan forca zjarrfikëse, shërbimi pyjor, forca bashkiake dhe vullnetarë të ndihmuar dhe nga 80 forca ushtarake në total me 3mjete dhe rreth 40 forca bashkiake.
– Në vendin e quajtur Qeramica ndërmjet fshatrave Trestenik- Vishocicë të bashkisë Devoll, është aktivizuar një vatër zjarri, e cila për shkak të erës rrezikon të përhapet, pasi vendi ku ndodhet është e veshur me barishte e shkurre.
– Në fshatin Kriçkovë, bashkia Pogradec, forcat operacionale janë në terren për vënien në kontroll të situatës.
– Në Parkun Kombëtar të Prespës, fshati Lajthizë, Bashkia Pustec, është aktivizuar një vatër zjarri. Për shuarjen e zjarrit u aktivizuan në total rreth 60 forca operacionale, ndërsa sot pritet të angazhohen 75 forcave operacionale.
– Në fshatin Galinë, bashkia Berat zjarri është aktiv dhe në vendngjarje ka shkuar Shërbimi vendor i MZSH të bashkisë Berat.
– Në zjarrin e rënë në fshatin Fushëbardhë dhe pranë tunelit të Skërficës, bashkia Gjirokastër, i cili ka ardhur nga territori i bashkisë Delvinë, nga një zonë në lartësi të madhe, u angazhuan rreth 60 forca të strukturave operacionale, por zjarri është duke përparuar drejt vendit të quajtur Bregu i Pamjes, zonë e mbrojtur dhe pritet ndërhyrje nga ajri.
– Zjarri në fshatin Izvor i Vjetër dhe në fshatin Duraj, bashkia Memaliaj, vazhdon të jetë aktiv. Zjarri është izoluar dhe fikur ne fshatrat Levan, Bardhj, Xhafaj, Njësia Administrative Krahës.
– Vijon puna për shuarjen e zjarrit të rënë në Malin me Gropa, bashkia Tiranë, në një sipërfaqe rreth 30 ha kullotë dhe pyll. Në operacion morën pjesë rreth 55 forca nga strukturat operacionale. Është bërë arrestimi i një personi të dyshuar për zjarrëvënie të qëllimshme.
– Në fshatin Ibë, Bashkia Tiranë, zjarr ka rënë në terreni të vështirë dhe me rrugë të pakalueshme për mjetet zjarrfikëse. Në operacion janë angazhuar: 2 helikopterë të Forcave të Armatosura, 6 mjete dhe 25 forca nga struktura operacionale.
– Në fshatin Shetel, Bashkia Shijak, ka rënë zjarr në një sipërfaqe pyjore. Në vendngjarje janë dislokuar rreth 40 forca nga strukturat operacionale. Priet ndërhyrje nga ajri.
– Bashkia Malësi e Madhe është aktive vatra në vendin e quajtur “Rraze Veshtit”. Në operacion për izolimin dhe shuarjen e kësaj vatre zjarri janë angazhuar 35 forca nga të gjitha strukturat operacionale . Terreni është mjaft i vështirë, nuk është e mundur te ndërhyhet me mjete zjarrfikëse.

The following were involved in the firefighting operations:
– 65 fire trucks,
– 1350 operational forces.
– Also participating in yesterday's operations were,
– 5 fire trucks and 2 helicopters from the Armed Forces,
– 2 Hungarian helicopters, as well as 2 Canadair helicopters provided by the Croatian and Italian European Civil Protection Mechanism, which operated in the Vlora area.
According to information sent by the Institute of Geosciences, light rainfall is expected today in the Shkodra region and light local rainfall in most regions of the country.
For Forest Fires: Today, a "HIGH" risk level is expected in all regions. "HIGH" risk is expected in localized areas of Berat region (North), Dibër region (South), Elbasan region (West), Fier region (East), Lezhë region (North), Vlorë region (North).
