The Prosecutor General, Olsian Çela, stated that the justice system in Albania is in an important process of transformation, where digitalization has significantly changed the way institutions communicate with citizens and the media.
In his speech during the National Conference on Justice and Media Interaction, Çela emphasized that "digitalization shook up the old justice system," underlining that justice bodies must adapt to technological developments and the public's growing expectations.
According to him, justice continues to face a complex process of change, while restoring citizen trust, which according to his assessment has fallen to record levels over the last 10-15 years, remains a challenge that requires time and dedication.
"It is not easy for traditional institutions to adapt to transformations in time, even more so for the justice system. The justice system is still going through a complex phase of social transformation. Public perception reached record levels in the last 10-15 years and recovering trust requires considerable time. Modernizing the forms of communication strategy has become a necessity. A vertical coordination mechanism has been created to increase the quality of notifications", said Çela.
In conclusion, Çela announced that a vertical coordination mechanism has been established, which aims to improve the quality of public communication and the manner of information provided by justice institutions.
