SPAK operation in Durrës, brother of Socialist Party MP arrested

The Special Anti-Corruption Prosecution Office (SPAK) and the State Police have conducted an action in the city of Durrës.

Enea Kume, brother of SP MP Loer Kume, was arrested during the SPAK operation in Durrës.

It is learned that the arrest of Enea Kume took place this morning and it is suspected that the cause is related to property misappropriation.

Loer Kume was elected as a SP MP in Durrës County in the May 11 elections and was sworn in as a legislator in Parliament on September 18.

The arrest of Enea Kume took place during an operation by the Special Prosecution Office in the coastal city.

The action is reported to have been taken for property theft. Searches were also conducted on Aleksandër Laho, a criminal figure known as "Rrumi i Shijakut".
