SPAK and the Italian anti-mafia conducted a joint operation against criminal groups that trafficked large amounts of cocaine and heroin, as well as laundered money obtained from criminal activities.
More specifically, Elvis Doç's group, also known as Visi i Pojës, was targeted, while 29 measures were signed by the GJKKO.
Among the people who have been declared wanted is the brother of Ervis Tusha, one of Sali Berisha's bodyguards. He is Redi Tusha from Shijak.
Referring to the file of the Italian authorities, Redi Tusha, the brother of Berisha's bodyguard, is accused of drug trafficking in two cases.
"In particular, thanks to the mediation of Gerti Aliu, who from Albania ensured contacts with the Albanian drug trafficker Redi Tusha and decided with him the deadlines and method of sending the drugs to Italy, based on the data provided over the phone by Leonard Shakaj, who was tasked with mediating in communications with the courier, Erigels Presi was waiting in Fasano (Brindisi) for the narcotics, physically transported by his compatriot Arsen Leskaj, who hid them in his vehicle," the Italian file states.

"For the criminal offense provided for in articles 61 point 2, 61 bis, 110 kp and 73 paragraphs 1 and 6, as well as 80 point 2 of the Decree of the President of the Republic no. 309/90, committed with the aim of implementing the criminal program described in point B, because in cooperation between them and benefiting from the contribution of an organized criminal group engaged in criminal activities in more than one country, they imported from abroad, kept and transported to Italy a considerable quantity of narcotic substance of 2 kilograms of "pure" heroin of the so-called "banana" type, coming from Albania, purchased for a total price of 34,000 euros in cash, destined for processing and sale in Italy.
In particular, thanks to the mediation of Gerti Aliu, who from Albania ensured contacts with the Albanian drug trafficker Redi Tusha and decided with him the deadlines and method of sending the drugs to Italy, based on the data provided over the phone by Leonard Shakaj, who was tasked with mediating in communications with the courier, Erigels Presi was waiting in Fasano (Brindisi) for the narcotics, physically transported by his compatriot Arsen Leskaj, who hid them in his vehicle.
The narcotic substance, which Erigels Presi would mix (to dilute) in his apartment in Bari with the help of Genci Telollari and Massimiliano Fiore, would then be destined for sale to persons involved in organizations dedicated to drug distribution activities, operating in the territory of Bari and its province."

In particular, thanks to the mediation of Gerti Ali, who from Albania was connected with the Albanian trafficker Redi Tusha and decided with him the time and method of sending the drugs to Italy, based on the data provided over the phone by Leonard Shakaj, who mediated communications with the courier, Erigels Presi, Genci Telollari and Massimiliano Fiore agreed on the delivery to Fasano, where the narcotic substance, physically transported by Arsen Leskaj, was hidden in the Fiat Iveco Eurocargo vehicle with Albanian license plates AA268AN, which he was driving.
